Pomegranates Perform Thigh High PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 26 January 2010 06:22

For This weeks spotlight artist drum roll please.... we introduce the Pomegranates with their new single Thigh High (Not Available Yet).   The Pomegranates sound is described as shimmering and dreamy with influences that range from the Talking Heads and Brian Eno, to French Kicks and Fela Kuti.  Metrogum was recently invited to see the Cincinnati denizens  at the indie music hangout, Spaceland here in Los Angeles.  There the Pomegranates played additional songs off their new album Everybody Come Outside. The Album is conceptional, weaving a tale of a man who leaves home, only to be abducted by a time traveler.

If we could hop in our Delorean, turn on the flux capacitor only so we could have told more people to come out and see this band live we would! But until we can track down the Doc you'll have to check out our exclusive footage from their performance all this week or wait and see them when they come to your town.  The Pomegranates are Jacob Merritt (drums, percussion), Joey Cook (vocals, guitar, keys, bass), Josh Kufeldt (bass, electric guitar) and Isaac Karns (guitar, bass, sampling, vocals, keys).  on Lujo Records. Follow them on Twitter and Myspace

Hey if you like the Band in this video why not support indie music and add it to your music collection here! Pomegranates - Everybody, Come Outside!

STAY TUNED FOR MORE POMEGRANATES TOMORROW

Also, we see the videos and shows that we post as a great starting point to an open forum / dialogue between you (the viewer) and us (no talent ass clowns), so we encourage you to write your review of the song or thoughts you may have on the band. Just keep it polite after all Musicians are a bit of the sensitive type! :)
