Hey everyone! It is tuesday night and it is also the second day in our spolight series for the band The Pomegranates. In this clip you can see them playing "Everybody Come Outside" off the same titled album. If you did not catch yesterdays post The Pomegranates sound is described as shimmering and dreamy with influences that range from the Talking Heads and Brian Eno, to French Kicks and Fela Kuti. Metrogum was recently invited to see the Cincinnati denizens at the indie music hangout, Spaceland here in Los Angeles. There the Pomegranates played additional songs off their new album Everybody Come Outside. The Album is conceptional, weaving a tale of a man who leaves home, only to be abducted by a time traveler.

The Pomegranates are Jacob Merritt (drums, percussion), Joey Cook (vocals, guitar, keys, bass), Josh Kufeldt (bass, electric guitar) and Isaac Karns (guitar, bass, sampling, vocals, keys). on Lujo Records. Follow them on Twitter and Myspace
